Benelec’s 3M Peltor DECT COM II is a wireless intercom system operating
in the 1.8 GHz licence-free DECT frequency spectrum. The system allows
up to nine users to communicate in a full duplex conference mode, with the
potential to expand to 90 additional listeners who have the ability to join the
conference at any time.
In development of the DECT-Com II, Peltor worked closely with industrial
and mission-critical users to determine what they needed for improved
team based headset solutions for a variety of environments. As a result,
the DECT-Com II provides users with new levels of comfort, clarity and
full duplex team-based communications. A unique feature is the ability to
connect to an existing two-way radio system for interoperability and cross-
team communications.
DECT-Com II users can PTT and instantly talk to any digital or analog on-
site radio system. DECT-Com II can be configured for multi-groups and
customised for a variety of operational scenarios.
